Privacy Policy

Overview

SOULYFE is a free music sanctuary for listening to original music, viewing visual/poster art, and reading notes. The current public version is designed for listening and browsing without requiring an account.

Core listening

The current public version of SOULYFE does not require account creation and does not collect personal information for core listening. The site does not use advertising profiles or sell listener data. Like any website, the hosting and media-delivery providers may process ordinary request information—such as an IP address, browser details, requested file, and time of access—to deliver and protect the service.

Browser storage

Soulyfe may use storage built into your browser to remember local preferences, playback choices, saved Worlds, playlist selections, or Studio work. This information stays in that browser unless you clear it. It is not a Soulyfe public account and does not automatically follow you to another device.

Free Lyric Sync Studio

When you choose an audio file in the free public Studio, the file is played and timed inside your browser. Soulyfe does not upload that chosen local file to its servers. Lyrics and timing edits remain in the browser until you export them to your device.

If you enter a direct audio-file URL, your browser requests that file from its hosting provider. That provider can receive ordinary network information under its own privacy policy. Player-page links from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and similar services are not imported by the Studio.

Local Sanctuary

When you choose MP3 or M4A music for Local Sanctuary, the browser creates temporary playback links for those files on your device and uses the same on-page Soulyfe audio player and visual response. The files are not uploaded to Soulyfe, are not stored in a Soulyfe account, do not create a Soulyfe storage or streaming charge, and disappear from the experience when the tab closes or you clear the local list.

Because the selected file stays on the device, a separate Soulyfe Television Room cannot retrieve it. To place the complete Local Sanctuary visuals on a television, use device or browser screen mirroring. Audio-only AirPlay or casting may send sound without the Soulyfe visual canvas.

Private Owner Studio and AI

Soulyfe’s protected Owner Studio is a separate private workflow used by the creator. When the owner deliberately starts AI-assisted lyric synchronization, a prepared listening copy and the supplied lyric text may be sent to OpenAI for that requested task and handled under OpenAI’s privacy policy. Heavy source masters remain private to the owner’s production workflow. Approved public stream files, artwork, metadata, and timed lyrics are published only through the owner-controlled release process.

App permissions

SOULYFE is built for audio playback. The current public version does not use microphone recording, camera access, contacts access, or location access.

Content and your responsibility

SOULYFE includes original music, visual artwork, written notes, and interface assets. These materials are presented as part of the Soulyfe listening experience. If you use the free Studio with other material, you are responsible for having the rights or permission needed to access, transcribe, time, export, or publish it. Using the tool does not grant a license to someone else’s recording or lyrics.

Support links

Support is optional. Soulyfe support buttons open Stripe’s hosted payment page. Stripe processes the payment information under Stripe’s privacy policy; Soulyfe does not receive or store your full card number. Review Stripe’s terms and privacy policy before submitting payment information.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Soulyfe adds public accounts, analytics, new upload features, or other capabilities that affect privacy.
